toughbook forgotten password for windows xp?
ive forgotten my password for windows xp. its on a toughbook so theres no cd drive to try and use erd commander. and the administrative options have been disabled. f8 does not work. how do i reset my password?
there is no cd rom drive so i couldnt be able to use it
if i get an external drive wold the computer pick it up and allow me to use it to be able to use a xp disk though?

if you can get in to any account go to run type in
net user administrator *
after that it should ask you for a new password just hit enter then enter agien that will make it so there is no password
Hint after you turn your compuer on and you get to the accounts screen press ctrl alt delete twice and it should bypass that screen into administrator login try this for your login
name administrator
password admin
