WLAN can be instantly switched to a built-in 3G communication solution to maintain accessibility to networks without adding any extension modules. In the tough environments security always matters, the RNB 470 has a built-in TPM 1.2 module, finger print scanner and Smart Card reader to provide additional 3 layers of excellent protection for valuable data. The Eagle notebook was designed with military users in mind, featuring port covers, sunlight readable display, and tested to MIL-STD-810F, all with the computing performance of a semi-rugged notebooks.

The latest security features are built in, including fingerprint reader, SmartCard (CAC) reader, and Absolute Computrace™ enabled BIOS for asset tracking and theft/loss recovery (when LoJack™ for Laptops or Computrace™ Enterprise is installed).

Stealth Semi Rugged Notebook – The Stealth Semi Rugged Notebook incorporates the latest Intel® advancements in processor and wireless technology. Stealth laptop computers have a spill proof keyboard, and a magnesium alloy casing which protects against vibration and drops.

Screen options include a standard 14.1” non-glare TFT XGA (1024×768) and 224MB shared video memory that provides for vibrant images. For direct sunlight applications, an optional transflective outdoor viewable display is available.

Behind the display is the latest Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology for true speed and wireless portability with WAN. A range of CPU choices are available from a 1.6GHz Pentium® Dual-Core processor up to a 2.33GHz Core™ 2 Duo CPU for a variety of mobile applications. Built-in TPM 1.2 (Trusted Platform Module) and SmartCard security hardware are optional.
