Is a Gateway MX8738 notebook pc a good choice?
I’m buying my first laptop and will just use it for personal use. I want to spend less than 0. I saw this Gateway MX8738 at Best Buy today and it seemed great, but I couldn’t find any reviews on the net. Does anybody know anything about this particular Gateway Notebook – or what Gateway’s reputation is for their notebooks? Or where I could find a review on the net? Or what would be a better choice and where I could get it? I want to buy this on Sunday, August 5.

Gateway nx570 is a great laptop,around $500 or so,go to http://www.gateway.com and you will see all of them,I have been running 2 gatway m520’s and a nx570,can’t beat them,gateway is alwats there for your support,other’s may have different choice’s but from 5 years running gateway is the ONLY brand for me,I am on a gateway m520 right now and its been running perfect for 5 years,not the first problem whatsoever,same battery
i agree with Mr.zip,i gave my gateway laptop to my niece so that she wouldn’t have to worry about it,gateways support is outstanding,if they can’t solve the problem online or over the phone they will send a box for free to have it shipped to be repaired for free,you can’t lose by buying a gateway,and they work darn well also.
