Hi there everyone. I just have a quick question…I’m looking to buy a Toshiba Notebook Computer seeing they are pretty reasonable and I’ve heard great reviews on them from friends and on some sites as well. I’m currently a sophomore in college and I plan on transferring to a 4 year university pretty soon. I just need a laptop that will allow me to surf the web, download music at a fairy high speed, type essays and listen to music as well as instant message and all that good stuff that comes with being a college student :p I want to be able to do all these possibly at the same time without having my computer lagging because I’m the most impatient person out there. The laptop should be reasonable as well when it comes to price.

I’m getting confused with all of the different processors..I have no idea what the differences are. If you could please let me know what you feel would work with my current situation I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
oh and one more thing, a laptop with a lot of memory space would be great seeing i have a ton of digital camera pictures and i love saving all of them…even the ugly looking ones

I am about to take a trip and need a book for the flight. I don’t know which to pick because I am not personally invested in either. I’d prefer responses from people who have read both but if you have read one or the other please tell me why you liked the book you are recommending. Saying "This is a great book" will not suffice. Ten points to the person who write the best thought out review regardless of whether they have read both or not.

I’ve wanted a wireless notebook card for my HP pavilion for a while. I was looking at the Belkin N1 Wireless Notebook Card which had mixed reviews on cnet.com, but I was wondering what people think about that particular one among others. Which wireless notebook card do you use/which one have you heard the best things about. Hoping for something fairly reasonably priced, but if I have to pay more for a better one, that’s fine too – it’s something I’d be using a lot so I’d want it to be reliable. Thanks!

hey everyone i am here to say that asus eee pc is a sub notebook not a netbook.i watch many videos, reviews and they all say it is a notebook.
when i typed in asus eee pc notebook in google many webpages came up saying it is a notebook but when i typed in asus eee pc netbook nothing came up saying that it is a net book.
i found many websites and reviews which say it is a sub notebook even asus website said it is more of a sub notebook. the only place i found which say it is a netbook is pc world.
so i strongly believe it is a sub notebook.
so what do u think

Circuit City has them on sale for 9 and I think I’m going to buy one for my boyfriend but I was trying to find reviews and couldn’t find any.
The laptop has 1gb ram and an 80gb hard drive. And yes, the ever so popular Vista.

(I’m not a fan of windows, but for his purposes mac is not ideal)

i’m looking to buy a new laptop computer for school and leisure purposes. I hate my sony vaio laptop, and ive seen a few of those small laptops around and was thinking about getting one. Any advice or suggestions on which brand to get? how well do these computers function compared to an average sized laptop? Do they have decent amounts of storage? Are there any drawbacks or restrictions to these computers? Any pros and cons or reviews or any input whatsoever would be great.

I have read tons of reviews and not one router is without negative reviews. I’ve checked out Linksys, Belkin, D-link, and a few others’ latest offerings, and someone has got a gripe about every one of them. Extensive searching for reviews on the web have been frustrated by the endless commercialism at tech sites. Even CNET gives ony three sentence "reviews." Rediculous!!! The internet as such is one vast strip mall. Please, if you know about edge tech ram let me know your experience with it. TY.

Dell inspiron 1501

I’m a student, and will only use it for mainly web browsing. I dont know much about computers at all.. and i’ve seen some good reviews about this one. I wouldnt be using high memory programs too much. What do you think?

since my notebook has an HDMI thing on the back of it could i hook up my PS3 to it and play?? and if i coud where should i go so it will display the PS3 stuff becouse on the TV you have to click a button on the remote and click HDMI1 or 2 becouse you cant just turn the game on and it will start displaying it. so how do i do that on the computer?? the switching thing.
