Can I play my Xbox 360 on my notebook?
This is my notebook. http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/toshiba-qosmio-g25-av513/4505-3121_7-31413530.html?tag=mncol;lst I got the XBOX 360 VGA cable, and it fits perfectly into the VGA you can see in the back of the laptop, and when i push the VIDEO IN button, it has a blank screen. I was wondering if I could play the 360 on my notebook because it is HD, and it has all the right things, I just don’t know what i’m doing wrong. by the way, here is the VGA cable i have. http://hardware.teamxbox.com/reviews/xbox-360/40/Xbox-360-VGA-HD-AV-Cable/p1/

no. a common misconception but you cannot use a laptop monitor like a normal monitor. laptops only have the option for video out not video in unless they have an add on card for video recording.
bottom line. no you cannot use your laptop to play the 360.
not the last time i check i tried because i have a 5k Alien ware laptop and i could not do it!!!!!!!!
depends on the software
No I don’t think so because then how are you meant to controll it. Even if you find a way where can you put the game in. Even if you find that (which I don’t think you will) WHATS THE POINT!!!!
laptops are only ment for video out, not video in, so no it wont work.
no
You would need a tv tuner or video capture card that attaches through a usb or expresscard slot.(if your laptop has it, link not showing laptop)
However I have not seen a lot of video capture card that accept vga, and a few that the accept those yellow, red, white cables.
That port you have is for external monitor, and are not made for input. Now if you have speakers and a lgd monitor then it could work. Although I have seen a lot of tv tuner that use the basic television cables (forgot official name) and you could probably use that.
