This is for a service oriented business – we would like to be able to bill the customer at the time of service & give them a receipt right away. I have had Sears come and do maintenance repair work on our appliances and they use a laptop with a portable printer. This would save us a lot of time!

i have a panasonic cf-48 toughbook. it used to be a firemans laptop. so its a little worn out on the front. to bad im a 15 yr old girl.lol. i only want to spraypaint the top. i will be using Krylon Fusion for plastics( my daddy said to use tht). and it will be a light pink=] and then i was to put rhinestones as hello kittys head on the front. what do i need to do to achive this?

For some reason my help and support is not responding at all online and offline. Would could be the reason for this and how do I go about fixing it? Everything else seems to be functioning somewhat normally but this could pose a problem later and in maintenance of the computer.

I’m an xp pro user and have refused the upgrade to Vista because of several concerns. This weekend I have to do some maintenance on my sister’s Vista laptop. I’m pretty saavy with XP, but have no experience with Vista. Anyone care to give me a quick list of tasks to start with. I’m expecting a mess. With XP I would do the usual: defrag, scandisk, spybot, temp files, updates, virus scan etc. Is there anything different with Vista I should know about, or perhaps a link you can provide? Thanks.

On both XP (desktop) and Vista (laptop) I repeatedly receive the message, "due to routine server maintenance Yahoo! Mail must now reload." This freezes my Mail, forcing me to reboot my ISP (Firefox). Anyone else have this problem?

I recently purchased a used CF29 from ebay. When I recieved it I noticed it had windows service pack 1 installed. It would locate and connect to a wireless network with no problem. I since then upgraded to service pack 2. And am no longer able to find any available networks. And yes I use my laptop in the same place both times. I’ve checked windows website a few times to make sure that I didnt miss any updates. What it does is that it will not locate wireless networks in range. It says that its controlled by another program and that I need to use that other program to connect to the internet. But what the other program?
Hello everyone. I’m a 23 year old, single guy moving to San Diego this summer and want to get a dog (never had one before). I’ll be living in an apartment by the beach, working at home or on the beach (via laptop) most of the time. I want a friendly, social dog that wouldn’t be too heartbroken if I wasn’t home a lot, but would also enjoy spending time with me outside the apartment.
I jog every morning, so the dog should enjoy running with me as well. When I do leave on business (1-2 days max per week) I’ll be leaving the dog with the best sitter money can buy while I’m gone. Basically, I just want a dog that loves to hang out, but knows how to chill out on his own or with other dogs (i’ll get him lots of toys too). Also, must be able to potty train and NO BARKING.
ANY SUGGESTIONS? (dogs only please)
P.S. – are chihuahuas and pugs too needy, or can i have them trained early on to be less needy?
