i’m looking to buy a new laptop computer for school and leisure purposes. I hate my sony vaio laptop, and ive seen a few of those small laptops around and was thinking about getting one. Any advice or suggestions on which brand to get? how well do these computers function compared to an average sized laptop? Do they have decent amounts of storage? Are there any drawbacks or restrictions to these computers? Any pros and cons or reviews or any input whatsoever would be great.

I have an MP3 player that is not compatible with Windows Vista, but the MP3 player has a MCC/SD card slot. I’m wondering if I can transfer music from my computer directly onto a card that I can use on my MP3 player.
I don’t see a slot on my computer for MCC or SD cards. I’m wondering if I missed it or if my computer just doesn’t take them.

My sister’s notebook is the HP 510 but it runs really slow so I was wondering what kind of memory she will need to speed it up, where to get it from and how to put it into the notebook.

I am looking for a laptop that will last me through post secondary schooling and will also be usable outside of schooling. I would like it to be able to:

Run as smoothly as possible with little maintenance.
Have good specs so that i won’t need to worry about swapping video cards and the like for a couple years.
Be immune to spyware, adware and the like
Be fast in processing speed

So basically i am looking for an awesome laptop ha ha ha.

I have read tons of reviews and not one router is without negative reviews. I’ve checked out Linksys, Belkin, D-link, and a few others’ latest offerings, and someone has got a gripe about every one of them. My mother’s birthday is coming up and she is a big online gamer. She showed me an article recently in her AARP magazine about a flexible waterproof keyboard that was dishwasher safe. I would really like to get this for her birthday. What I need to know is: I’ve found several different brands, which is best? It needs to be a full-size keyboard preferably in black. Also, where would be the best place to buy–I don’t mind ordering online I just need to get it in the next 2 weeks.

My husband is military and uses his laptop for work and his school attendance. I want a degree in Web Design/Development so, a cheap computer will only do for the short term. I need a technology package so that I can get the computer/laptop with the system requirements capable of supporting all of the software needed for the life of my schooling. Everyone keeps saying that a basic computer will work but I have seen the list of courses offered at some schools and a basic computer will run too slow with just one of these programs. Could someone offer some advice as to a college (online) that offers this? Please don’t tell me about Dell. You have to be the Pope to get credit from them.

I have an older model COMPAQ laptop. It is about 4 years old and I love it. It serves its purpose. I am not a gamer nor am I too litterary when it comes to computers. I just want to know what I can do myself to improve its performance until I can afford a new one.

I’ve heard there are places where soldiers can get free computers to take to IRAQ and that you can get free plane tickets and such. Does anyone know where I need to be looking because I cannot find anything !
